Hunter Holmes, performer and musical historian brings us a program of his live music interspersed with interesting facts about the rich heritage and music that came from the Cotton Mill Villages in the South.
Hunter lives in Laurens with his wife and four children. Over the years, he has become the regional authority on the history and performance of the Piedmont Blues and Cotton Mill Music, performing musical lectures on both genres in many museums, educational institutions and gatherings. Notably, he performed at the Brooklyn Folk Festival in New York.
